Time Spent in a Private Company After Resignation

Time Spent in Private Company

Hello Friends,

My name is Ankit Shukla, and today I want to share a personal experience about the time I resigned from my job.

Receiving the Offer Letter

Generally, MNCs have a 3-month notice period, but in my company, it was only **1 month**. One day, I received an offer letter from another company, and I was overjoyed! That evening, I threw a party for my friends to celebrate.

The Morning After & Writing My Resignation

After waking up the next morning, reality hit me—I had to write my resignation letter. Thoughts ran through my mind:

"How should I write it? What should I say to my colleagues? How will my manager react?"

Informing My Team

That morning, I reached the office and first informed my best colleague. Then, I spoke to my Team Lead. His first words were a muffled "Congratulations!", but my colleagues were genuinely happy for me.

Submitting My Resignation to HR

Finally, I wrote my resignation letter and submitted it to the **HR team**. As expected, the HR discussion began—they started persuading me to stay. They even hinted that my salary would increase next month—a common tactic used by HR teams.

Final Thoughts

Leaving a company is a big decision. It comes with emotions, challenges, and a new journey ahead.
